I was actually on the Carnival Magic doing a transatlantic from Barcelona to Galveston with my parents when this video was shot. The ships look kinda similar on the inside so its a wave of nostolgia for me.

There seems to be a lot of us related over the centuries. I too have James IV as an ancestor from the same line. It is fastinating to be able to research the various historical figures down the centuries. I have visited a lot of the Scottish castles before looking into our family trees . I intend to do the same again with more understanding.

Ah Castle Doune, a great example of medieval architecture and worth seeing. A wonderful Stewart castle, the same Stewart clan who married into my kin, Clan MacLeod. The village of Doune is beautiful and looks so picturesque and worth stopping into. Hopefully, I will get to visit this historically wonderful castle and learn more about it's history in the near future.

It’s sad that the Costa Concordia sank! I’ve been on Carnival Splendor, one of Costa Concordia’s 5 sister ships. I loved it!
